In 2018 the wine reached new heights as the blend came entirely from estate-owned vines following the family’s acquisition of the Sauvage Vineyard in Bannockburn. Whilst approachable now, expected cellaring potential is up to 7 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom vintage 2021 Moonlight Race Pinot Noir comprises three sites that we farm ourselves: our estate vineyards Burn Cottage Vineyard in Lowburn, and Sauvage Vineyard in Bannockburn, along with the Luna vineyard in Bannockburn. The blend of these three special sites produces our vibrant expression of classic Central Otago  with concentrated dark and red berry fruit flavours with a supple texture and fine tannins. Whilst it’s approachable now, there is cellaring potential of 7-8 years.
