The 2005 vintage of d’Arenberg’s iconic The Dead Arm Shiraz from McLaren Vale delivers rich, bold character with elegance. Sourced from century-old low-yielding vines, it offers deep crimson colour and a bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark plum, black pepper, and cured meat with hints of leather and chocolate. The palate is dense and full-bodied, showcasing layers of dark fruit, licorice, espresso, and earthy spice wrapped in chewy tannins and balanced acidity. This wine has matured gracefully, revealing both power and finesse with a long, savoury finish.

Serving & Cellaring:

Decant before serving to fully open its depth. Excellent with roast lamb, grilled ribeye, or aged cheeses. Drinking well now, with further ageing potential over the next 5–8 years.
