It’s time to complete our milestone Australian Decade Series, with one of the modern Australian whisky industry’s four founding distilleries. And this is their first ever peated Sherry whisky.

Hellyers Road created this exclusive dram just for the Club by marrying a peated American oak cask with a Pedro Ximénez Sherry cask, then adding 20+ year old stock from their vaults, lending a beautiful silky quality and rounded structure that ties the two casks together. It's the perfect balance of sweet and peat: you won’t be able to get enough of the sticky baklava, mandarin, and light campfire smoke notes in this unique whisky, bottled non-chill filtered and with natural colour, at a wonderfully decadent 56.5% ABV. 

COLOUR: Bronze

NOSE: Tropical fruits with sweet raisin and chocolate-roasted nuts

PALATE: Sticky baklava, juicy date and mandarin, light campfire smoke

FINISH: Rich, fruit-driven roundness with a touch of umami leads to an elegant, building white fudge finish.

FOOD MATCH: Mixed nuts amplify the sweet-peat nature and delicate backbone of 20+ year old stock. Add a drop of water to explore its complex layers.
