2008 Nigl Gruner Veltliner Eiswein 375ml Half Bottle
Fine acidity combined with pure stone fruit aromas, peach and apricot.
Eiswein is considered the pinnacle of sweet wine production. Ice wine is only possible in a few years, as the grapes must be frozen during processing, requiring a minimum temperature of -8°C. This variation from the Nigl winery in the Krems Valley offers a delicate acidity combined with pure stone fruit aromas. Hints of peach and apricot create a superb ice wine from the Grüner Veltliner grape variety, one that has a long history of aging.
