Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC is named after the noble, ancient Nebbiolo grape variety from the hills of Alba, as well as the autumn fog (“nebbia”) that often blankets the Langhe during harvest. This wine shows a red colour tending toward garnet, with a delicate bouquet recalling violets and wild strawberries. With ageing, the bouquet gains refinement and depth. On the palate, it is dry, velvety, full-bodied and harmonious.
